NLP has two types of language models: the Meta-model and the Milton-model

Meta-Model helps us encourage speakers to clarify vague expressions and be more specific in their communication. It can also guide speakers into constructive trances and encourage them to visualize and sense their experiences.

The model consists of abstract language patterns that intentionally invite speakers to interpret the communication based on their own experiences, which is the essence of Dr Milton Erickson’s “conversational” hypnosis.

By learning the NLP Meta and Milton language model, you can update your mental maps by adjusting your values and beliefs. It means it will change your perspectives on what is happening to you. For example, you may become calmer than before in the same situations, which leads to a less active HPA axis and helps conserve energy for a better quality of life.
