Certified Life Coach Mind Training The Power of the Words

The Power of the Words

Albert Mehrabian, a psychology professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, elaborated on the concept in his 1971 book Silent Messages (1971) that 7% of meaning is through spoken language, 38% through intonation, and 55% through body language. Does that language vocabulary become less significant in face-to-face communication? It depends on the situation.

When you use spoken language as a suggestion, especially in a “trance” state, the information and energy transmitted by this “spoken language” are directly accepted by the subconscious. NLP call it “Auditory Digital”. If you can use it properly, it can transmit invisible energy and bring power to you.

Let’s do the exercise together!

First, adjust your breathing, sitting comfortably on the sofa or chair, and then close your eyes.

Imagine yourself in a beautiful and quiet garden. You are sitting on a white bench, surrounded by fragrant flowers, you hear the birds singing to you, and you feel the warmth. You enjoy this tranquillity.

Suddenly a very beautiful little bird is flying in and stays on your warm arm and looks into your eyes, and speak to you a word, just a word. Then it flies away.

What is this word?
(It reminds you of what should you pay attention to).

When you’re ready, open your eyes.

I suggest you write this word with your “hand” on the paper, then paste it in the places where you can see the word at any time.

In the future, when your eyes see it, your subconscious mind will remind you to do so by activating this neural-network because you have already created this neural-network and enhanced it by writing it down by your hand. You may hear that former U.S. President Obama often put small gifts from other countries in his pocket to remind his commitment.

In fact, ” Anchors” exist in our bodies through daily lives while we grow up, such as the first birthday gift and a dish made by your mother, etc. These ” anchors” exist in our bodies deeply, such as the roots of the tree plunge deep into the ground in this Bob Ross painting.

In life, “Anchor” can bring many benefits, such as allowing us to change from a negative state of mind to a positive state of mind in a short time, helping you recall a good memory and improving learning efficiency, and so on.

If that beautiful bird just said to you –you need to energize yourself,  I suggest that you put the word “energize” in the place where you often can see it. You will feel the energy flowing through your body whenever you see the word.
